You may see a bit of inconsistencies, but this is the best option I’ve been able to achieve.
I’ve been working on docking animations for a very long time, so you get the impression that the player is ‘clinging’ to the ledge.

I plan to add more variability to the system, for example, the player will be able to climb a ladder or a pipe
Is this going to be a public game? This looks awesome and would fit the category for a Parkour game really well! Also is climbing things gonna be the only functionality of the game or is it going to have other mechanics to the game (like sliding, wallrunning, ledge jumping, etc).
If this is gonna turn into a full parkour game, I recommend adding your own set of animations (running, walking, jumping, falling)
This is very nice even without the use of IK!! It looks like something off of Uncharted or Tomb Raider! - There is a slight problem with the arms and hands going through the bars but I’d say if you just work with IK on that problem it can be completely avoided.
This looks really cool! I love any parkour game, such as Dying light, DL2, Mirrors edge, and this prototype reminds me of those games a lot. It’s stunning to know that this was made in roblox. Keep up the great work!
