Hey , I’m looking for a scripting to help me develop my 2D physics based fighting game inspired by Stick Fight: The game, The Henry Stickmin Collection and classical Stickman animations. I haven’t seen any games like this on roblox yet, so this seems like an interesting area to explore.

The basic gameplay should be fairly self explanatory from the GIFs above, so Ill provide a bit more additional information on what I want to this below.
I should mention that a lot of these plans reach way past the initial release, making the game playable wont take nearly as much effort much effort.

Players in this game join into a 6 player gun game by default, after each kill the player gets one strong or two weak items for their next kill. Most of the items aren’t classical weapons though, but are more unique like a bouncy ball, remote controlled drones or something like glue. Such items should give the game a lot of comedic moments and make it generally more exciting.
Maps rotate automatically after a player gets a certain amount of kills, there may be some customization window on private servers.
Also, not to forget that items can be picked up/thrown away freely.
When the player dies or with the press of a button they can open up a shop menu where they can purchase cosmetics or unlock more weapons (I’m quite open to monetizing the game, but I don’t want to get it anywhere gamebreaking). Here is where they can also join friends or join other potential gamemodes.
These other gamemodes could include a small scale 4 player FFA similar to Stick Fight, a large 12-16 player Battlefield Rush style mode, a 4v4 round based flag/bomb mode and a mode of 3v6 or 4v4 where one team has to defend a fortified position with the other team attacking it on a wave respawn.
I have given my current items 3 upgrades each, in more strategic gamemodes these could be bought for a set budget in each round, right now they simply serve to reduce the overall amount of guns to deal with, they can be simply randomized in the basic gamemodes.
Theres also some plans for vehicles which I tested slightly, they aren’t actually that hard or different to implement from normal items and could serve as something like killstreaks in the basic modes.
I hope this covers most of the questions on where I want to take the game, my main priorities right now is in finishing the basic item and gamemode systems, making a good selection of content, dont want to forget about the monetization either.
The Job
You will have to do all of the scripting on the game, except for some of the item and vehicle implementation which I could do myself, as long as I have sample code for the complicated features.
Anyways, heres they are:
- Rewriting the character scripts and fixing some flaws, as well as adding some missing features
- Making a modular item/(vehicle) system
- Item (and vehicle) functionality, aiming and shooting projectiles are the major ones and more specific things like explosives, proximity mines or remote controlled rockets
- The basic gun game, UI
- Shop for cosmetics/ item packs
- small, random miscellaneous features (shouldn’t be underrated)
These are the main features that I see required for a full release, though there is a lot of room for more features (see above).
Note that this game is quite unconventional, the strong usage of physics can make some features quite easy to script (this showcase was only my second time scripting on Roblox), the game is mostly 2D instead of the normal 3D, but that can also bring new issues with it, so keep that in mind.
An appropriate foundation of knowledge on scripting and general development on Roblox are required.

I generally offer 50% revshare,
if you want any further security we can maybe discuss some assets in exchange or a bit of money directly, but I dont think that those options are really sustainable over time.
My main goal is making an enjoyable game, good player counts and profits should then come from that.
