[ Close ] My sky on roblox studio is weird

Wait I do have other plugins under Manage Plugins but they’re all “off” (greyed out). Would they still be considered installed?

I don’t think so, maybe post a screenshot of all the plugins you have? It could help us find any possible malicious ones.

No, this problem has happened with me too, and it happens even on a blank baseplate. I also noticed that if you turn on the rotating cube thing under view that it will appear in the skybox

Following up on this, I have published a bug report, this is not urgent enough to fit CRITICAL however it is an issue that needs to be addressed.

Can I ask what device you use?

I use a MacBook Pro, although I tested it out on a desktop mac and had the same outcome.

Here’s screen shots of my plugin list. Two shots to capture them all.

It is quite clear it is nothing to do with plugins, but to do with mac devices themselves, I use windows and have never encountered this error, reported this bug.

Does it happen in-game launched from the website?

No. when I published another baseplate place to test it looked fine on the website. Only happens in studio.

Yes, but this specific game with the issue on it, if you play it from the website instead of studio, does it still show?

Correct. When I play from the website it appears fine. When I view any place on studio it’s messed up.

Search your game for “Sky” using the explorer search bar. See if you find any.

There isn’t any. It is an issue occurring for multiple people.

Just to give a visual, here are screen shots of a place I just published. Blank place just changed the baseplate to green grass and placed a pink block.

Would you mind adding me to Team Create to see if the sky replicates to my studio?

I’m trying to add you but it won’t let me. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I usually don’t use team create.

Maybe try checking if a plugin is hiding something somewhere you can’t see it.

Explorer should look something like this, try looking through it for anything suspicious.

I’m looking but I don’t see anything suspicious but then again I’m not that experienced to know what may be suspicious looking.

I’m 78% sure that if you’ve added an infected model or plugin and it’s already been added in and published, it’s too late. This has happened to me multiple times before. In the future, check models for ‘fire’ or scripts that aren’t supposed to be there. Your best bet right now is to make a new game from scratch, you won’t be able to salvage anything unless you’ve saved it all into your personal models.
