Hiya, my name is Jamey with Sweetology Development. I’m the project manager for Sweetology. We’re looking for an advanced scripter in ROBLOX Lua that meet can all of our needs. Here’s some information about me;

- I’m a dog person every day of the week
We’ve gone ahead and bulleted all the basic information a scripter might need in regards to the position;
- We’re looking for an advanced ROBLOX Lua scripter who can meet our expectations, if not, over-achieve the expectations.
- We need a scripter who can code all of our user interface for functionality and the actual database side of the interface. This ranges from point storage to developer products and game passes.
- Sweetology is trying to revolutionize the bakery industry, specifically, with our baking system. Here’s the process we have in mind; the cashier will take the customer’s order and enter it into the ordering system which will create a ticket for the baker so they don’t mess anything up and a receipt for the customer. Say the customer ordered a cakepop, the baker would grab the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cakepop mix, and flavoring, to then mix all of these ingredients in a bowl. The baker would then form cakepop balls and put them in a pan and put the sticks in the cakepops and then bake them. Lastly, the user would take the cakepops out of the oven and glaze them, and put the correct toppings on them. All of this has animations to go with it as well as UIs. We’re trying to have this be as customizable as possible, thus, why we’re looking for an advanced scripter who can complete this for us.
- Furthermore, we’re looking for a scripter who can join our team long term and work along-side other developers for updates and bug fixes.
- Furthermore, integrating things such as ranking into the game and into the user interfaces.
- Lastly, this is a long-term position, you must be willing to actively work on improving our game.
Here’s what we aren’t looking for;
- We aren’t looking for inexperienced or untalented scripters.
- We aren’t looking for scripters who have never worked with ordering systems and cooking systems.
- We aren’t looking for scripters that have under a year of experience; exceptions may be made
- We aren’t looking for scripters who can’t actively work with us and work with us on our game.
We are looking for scripters who meet a few of our prerequisites and those are as follows;
- The scripter must be over the age of 13.
- The location of the scripter is preferred to be in the United States or have a schedule that works around American timezones.
- The scripter should have at least a year of experience in ROBLOX Lua.
- The designer must provide a portfolio of examples and previous work when they reach out.
- The designer must have available vouchers or reviews from previous customers.
- The scripter must be willing to join our team as a long-term contractor.
Here’s the information regarding payment;
- We’ll only pay the scripter through PayPal.
- We’re able to work with the designer on the desired payment amount, however, starting base pay is $150 USD for the first portion of your scripting. This is only a starting pay, if you require more, we’d love to work that out with you.
- We’re more than able to then work out payment for updates and changes to the scripts.
- In regards to when we pay, we can either pay in full once you’re done or we can pay half up front and the other half afterward.
- Please note for payment, we ask you to give us your prices, and then we can work around that rather than you work around our budget.
