The project you will be working on is called Blox Brawl. Blox Brawl is a fun beat em up game similar to Smash in terms of you having to hit your opponents and when they reach a certain health you send them flying out the ring.

I’m currently looking for an experienced Programmer who is also skilled in making GUI/UI (If you’re not we can discuss this in DMs!) to help me finish up where my previous lead programmer left off before we started working on a different project. I really see a lot of potential in this game and I would hate for the current work to go to waste!
The various powerups players will be using along with the combat(All fighting animations + the interactions that occur player vs player) and knockout system (the behavior of what happens to the opposing player when you knock them out) is already fully functional and complete along with 3/5 maps we need for release. I also have various items I modeled for the project just incase we need them in the future. However, the project is still in need of:

A lobby/round based system - A system that will spawn players in the lobby before and during a match (Depending on the circumstance) and swap maps during intermission.

Three different game modes for release such as free for all, team Vs, and elimination.

A shop system that’ll allow players to purchase new powers/abilities that correspond with their fighting styles.

A currency system - A system that rewards players after knocking someone out and completing a round.

Corresponding GUI for all of the above.
