And after all that nerve-wracking tension and anxiety, the application has been sent in (I sent it a few hours ago actually). Now with that off my mind, I can update my portfolio with some works and experiences.
I have gotten really comfortable with my team so far. While originally I accepted their offer mostly for the program itself, I can see myself continuing to partake in the team regardless of if we get accepted or not. They’re a great, talented bunch and more than my excitement to participate in my first program at Roblox, I want to work with the team to see our dreams come to fruition. The guidance we get from the program will surely help us further reach that point and take things from new perspectives.
I know there’s already been a few things circulating in our chats about the engine, so we’re definitely looking forward to be able to provide internal feedback.
Good luck to all the applicants! Competition will be fierce especially with this program being remote and if the session is within an ideal strike zone. I’m hoping to pull through with my team and see other familiar and new faces there.
