Hi there! We are Emerald Entertainment, a small upcoming game development team. We are currently looking for talented game designers who can comfortably operate with smooth terrain, building, and 3D modeling for a sizeable percentage of our group earnings.
We are looking for a professional builder, modeler, and smooth terrain designer (1 person who can do all 3 of those well) to join our team and take up the position of Creative Director / Lead Builder… Below I have listed two pictures of the style we want which incorporates modeling with smooth terrain and building, but I’m pretty sure all the building was done with models made in Blender.
(These wonderful works are from our previous builder who seemingly vanished off the face of the planet, unfortunately.)
Payment
We are paying a hard 20%. (If absolutely necessary there can be some sort of commission upfront as well, but ideally and probably not.) No more as it is already split out between programmers, group needs, and DevEx needs. The game makes very sufficient earnings though so rest assured you will make enough to DevEx more often than not as long as you stick with us.

If you need someone to work with your creative team to give them guidance and oversee others; sure they are creative directors. Lead builder doesn’t necessarily entail this though. Lead builder usually only dictate what buildings should look like but not always going over level design nor talking to other creative roles such as asset creation, music, art and etc.
While it is meant to be vague, I hit the necessary points to define the role, a builder, modeler, and terrain designer, I’m not sure what other term would entail all three of these abilities being used for map and item design
