Combat Arms Reborn is a RTS. The game is ready for beta release except it needs more units/maps. Play it here if you’d like. Conflict Rising 2 - Roblox. [Play the tutorial.] While the 3d modeler and terrain builder are creating units/maps, I will be polishing the game. I plan for Beta release in 2 weeks on August 8. You can take both jobs if you can meet both deadlines.
3d Modeler
The 3d modeler will create various units for my RTS. Units will include vehicles, aircraft, boats, and buildings. All units are low detail and not that difficult to make. You will create 4 units a week for 2 weeks, and after that, 2 units a week. I will be doing all the texturing for them. You will stay on the team for 1 month, adding up to 12 units. If you wish to get all the units done at once, that’s up to you and you can leave the team before the 1 month. Once you join the team you get 10% of the games profits, however if you leave the team before you finish 12 units, you will lose .83% for each unit you didn’t finish.
All units are low detail and not hard. Message me on discord for examples.
Ok so this is the weirdest hiring I’ve seen. The way your docking pay is really weird, at this point you might as well try to offer robux or Usd/£. Also, there is no guarantee that this will be profitable for a % to have such a heavy docking pay system like this; but this is just what I think on the matter. Also, 10% for the models you’re asking for is too low for any reasonable or good modeler to take.
I am docking pay because if they don’t finish the job, I am still willing to pay them for their work. Basically if they finish 4/12 units and quit I would pay them 3.3% of profits since they got a 3rd of the work done.
All modelers should check out the game and determine if it’s profitable or not. I believe it very much is.
10% is more than reasonable considering that each unit is low detail. I have also spent a ton of time on this game, way more than a modeler would for 12 units. I modeled every unit in the game so far and they are easy and don’t take long at all. The modeler doesn’t have to texture them either.
Your personal experience in modeling units does NOT equal what another modeler might feel. Besides, if it’s so easy, why don’t you model them yourself and save the 10%?
Each unit takes about 2-5 hours to make depending on the unit. I am a slow modeler. Then theres texturing which takes 1-4 hours. Then there is scripting the unit into the game which depending on the unit can take 1 hour or if its a special unit which a few of the units are it can take atleast 10 hours to script it into the game. Then there is all the other scripting that the game took, along with all the units I have already made.
I don’t enjoy modeling that much. Its a thing where I am doing it but I can’t focus because I don’t enjoy it much. But scripting I go zoom because I enjoy it.
