[CLOSED] Hiring a 3D Modeler (Top Earning Game)

The Police Roleplay Community team is looking for a modeler. We welcome a long-term position as a modeler with us if performance is satisfactory.

Here is a link to the game you will be working on. Our game is an emergency services roleplay (Police, Fire, EMS) game. The game (paid access) is consistently around #15 on Top Earning. It is also on the Players Love and Most Engaging game sorts!

The team:

@Shawnyg - Scripter
@LostInfinity - Community Manager
And myself as everything else besides contracted work.

Below are the listed requirements for this job:

  • You must have several examples of your past work to show. These examples must be similar to this job (medium-low build quality).
  • You need to be able to design and wrap textures for the models you create.
  • Must have experience in a professional-grade 3D modeling program (Blender is fine).
  • Previous work experience with a known developer/game is preferred, but not required.
  • You must have a discord for communication (only text communication is required).

Note: There is no age requirement, but you must be of a mature age.

I am looking for a modeler to create 3D models for the game. The models must be created in a third party program and imported into Roblox with proper texture work. The models will not be large - most large build will be made with Roblox parts. Instead, they will be small, detailed assets. Examples include tools, helmets, accessories, etc. I will include examples images below of that I expect.

I also need a modeler to help optimize professional vehicle models as we import them to Roblox. You’ll need to fix some missing faces and close gaps between the different parts of a vehicle (ie body gaps).

You will be paid per asset. Payment is available in USD or Robux, but Robux is preferred. Robux to USD rate is the same as the DevEx rate. An estimate for a single model may be R$7,500 - R$20,000 depending on the complexity, of course.

You will also be paid R$20,000 a month just to be available for us whenever we need something done. This is in addition to whatever pay you receive for the assets made.

Read this entire post before sending an application so that you don’t miss something important.
Please send your application portfolio to the email hiring@policeroleplay.community
You must include “Modeler Position” in the subject line!

Alternatively, if you don’t want to expose your email address to me (nor create a free email account for your Roblox business), you may apply by messaging me here on the DevForum.

To make this quicker for the both of us, send me your FULL PORTFOLIO in your email. Your portfolio should be a collection of your past work examples, who you’ve worked with before, what you’ve worked on, and any other impressive stuff. This position will be open until the title is updated to say it’s closed.

Applicants will be further talked with on discord after acceptance of your portfolio.

Examples

Here is a SWAT helmet we have. It’s the level of detail we’re looking for, but this doesn’t have a texture.

Here is a SWAT vest we have. It’s a very good example of what we want (texture and model quality).
