Hello! I’m a part of SCP: Daemonophobia, a group that takes a turn on the SCP Genre, making things a lot different for everyone involved with our custom lore and custom SCPs. We plan to make an experience like no other for whoever’s involved.

We are looking for people to help us in creating our project; Nikolai, a serious roleplaying game connected to our group that requires advanced scripting knowledge. Primarily, we are looking for its main programmer and leader of the project to help us in getting some of the main functions of the game, as well as the scripting of other assets that are a part of it.
What is Nikolai?
Nikolai is our upcoming Site that can be heavily impacted upon and everything can revolve around a person within it lore-wise. It will have one of the most advanced systems a Site will ever have, slowly gaining these by each update. Each team has its purpose, Engineering and Logistics maintains the functions of the Site such as power and logistics, Security Bureau which is the security of the Site, protecting the Site and its assets. Stationary Task Force which is the main line of defense when it comes to phenomenon and certain assets breaching the Site, as well as the Scientific Research & Genetic Modification Department responsible for studying these phenomena. However, there’s a lot more where that came from. In-general, every person will have a task given and a role within this Site, no matter what rank you are and what department you’re in. The game will have a 70-80’s atmosphere as the game takes place in 1973, while also having a sort of mysterious tone to it as well.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone that can produce advanced assets regularly as well as managing our programming field as well. Managing our workflow, and helping us and the community bring content regularly and taking us a step further to the release of Nikolai. You must be passionate about the project and get ready to dedicate yourself to projects that require advanced programming knowledge to complete.
We expect you to adapt to the project as well as keeping your code clean and readable, and be as performant and efficient as possible. Familiarize yourself with our work methods, and you should be able to tackle any task we give you.
It is heavily recommended that you read the wiki, http://www.scpwiki.com/ and familiarize yourself with our lore before heading into the project head on.
Lore summary; “It is 1973, you are within the Foundation’s most self-sustainable Site in the world; the Nikolai Research and Containment Installation. Everybody that enters within this facility lives here, everything from black market trade, cooking and producing food, rebelling against the people that run this place; the Foundation. But this Site also contains the Foundation’s most strangest and dangerous SCPs, be wary, there is a dark secret within this place.”
You must have good communication skills, as you will be required to be very active in our communications and present updates regularly for us. We organize ourselves through Discord, so our communication requires you to be able to use it.
Our team uses Team Create to develop Nikolai, scripting and building will take place in Team Create to make development much more easier. However, you can script separately if you want to.
Payment
Depending on what project you are given, you will be paid $70 USD or more at the time you complete the task or tasks given to you. As an added bonus you may be given a percentage when Nikolai releases, giving you an estimated 10k-100k R$ per month if the project is completed. We may require you for more projects in the future as well, so be prepared once Nikolai is released. However, payment is entirely negotiable and it really only depends on how much effort and dedication you put in.
