Jin knew this comment was coming, but I’m not going to bash him or be rude. I’m just going to leave my review.
Jin is an extremely competent scripter. However, that doesn’t excuse how he ended our relationship.
I hired him a little while ago to be our new scripter, and I thought everything was going well. We started becoming personal friends (so I thought), and he told me not even two days ago (at the time of writing this) that he dropped another project so he could work on my project for longer.
Last night, without warning he blocked me and stopped working for us. Was it stress? Was I a bad owner? I have utterly no idea, he simply blocked me and that was that. No explanation at all.
So please be weary should you hire Jin in the future. He is an extremely competent scripter, but he spoke often about how he is better than other scripters as he never bails on work. We had multiple conversations stating that he would never do that and that he had an amazing work ethic. We even built a friendship. And just like that, he blocks me. No explanation, no quitting message, nothing.
So just be weary when hiring him, I am the second group in the span of two days that he dropped the project on. I understand why he dropped his first project (it was a football game) that he had no interest in. But my project was unexpected, heartbreaking, and a waste of so much time and energy.
