[CLOSED] Recruiting testers for upcoming simulator!

Daca Studios is Looking for Testers

About Us

Hi there! Daca Studios is a new dev group that is almost ready to release our first game, Fix It Simulator. We’re looking for around 4 testers to help search for bugs, give suggestions, test features, and give feedback on the game. Fix It Simulator is a game where you are an employee at Frank’s Fix It. Your job is to go around fixing anything that’s broken. Cars, fences, pipes, and more! We’re trying to differ ourselves from other traditional simulators. This is not a click and win game! We’ve introduced mini puzzles as part of our mission to be unique in the industry. Sound interesting? Keep reading!

A month ago we released a teaser trailer for the game.

About The Job

Being a tester will not require too much of you, but we do have a few requests of our future testers. First off, testing is expected to last one week. Testers should have enough free time throughout that week to be able to thoroughly test what is needed. Things such as game balancing and progression may take time. Other than that, there is not much else to be said for requirements. We may ask testers to test updates before we release them in the future though you are not required to stay after this first week of pre-release testing.

Payment

There will be no payment for this position as it is a volunteer role and we consider it a privilege to be able to access the game before anyone else. However, you will be given a “Tester” role in the studio group, on the Discord server and a tester role will be displayed above your head in game.

Ready to start?

You must join the Discord server in order to apply. Instructions for applying can be found there in the announcements and information channel. (Don’t worry it’s simple!)

Thanks for interest! We hope to see you soon.

Not very many people are going to want to do this if there isn’t any small payment involved.

I agree with kuyvii, people don’t want to test a game every once in a while if they get no payment.

Yes, thank you. I think at least a small negotiation of payment per test ranging from 200-300 ROBUX is the least that should be done if someone is going to take time to do it for him.

Reply to @kuyvii and @MegaFireball0 – Testers will receive insider information about the game before anyone else will. Testing updates before others, and will probably receive some in-game currency. (Money, special tool, etc…)

We expect not many people want to test something for free, but we have gotten a few that offered. It’s voluntary, and is considered a privilege to access our game before anyone else does. Hope this clears some things up!
