[CLOSED] Reliable Scripted Car Chassis

Looking for a reliable and flexible scripted car chassis

About Us

Hi! I am currently looking for a talented scripter to create a well-made, reliable and flexible car chassis. The current car chassis that we are using for our game is a physics based chassis and has proven to be very prone to glitches. This is why we are now looking for someone to create a fully scripted car chassis with mechanics similar to the ones seen in Mad City and Jailbreak.

We are NOT looking for any car meshes, just a bare, fully-functional, chassis

The game where this will be used in is still incomplete and not yet released to the public.

About The Job

We are looking for a professional scripter to create this car chassis. This will be a one-time job unless we find some issues with the car chassis that would need to be fixed.

Requirements for the car chassis:

  • Compatible for mobile, PC and Xbox
  • Reliable and smooth
  • Can be easily driven on roads and terrain
  • Flexible in terms of it’s properties being changeable easily, (Ex. max speed, acceleration, turn speed etc)
  • Ability to flip car when upside down
  • Fully scripted car chassis and not physics based
  • Preferably should be complete by the end of this month (August)

Note:
If anyone has a car chassis like this and is already made, please contact us so we can take a look at it

Payment

We are paying anywhere between 50k to 150k ROBUX in group funds for anyone that can make or has made a scripted car chassis which fits our requirements.

I have a very reliable and smooth physics-based car chassis at this game and there’s a newer (but more experimental) version here. There’s no flip system, but that will be easy. In the post, it says you’re ONLY looking for scripted suspension systems, why is that?

There are a few bugs with my system, but I’ve been testing it repeatedly over the past few weeks and I’ve gotten to know exactly what needs changing. I think I’ll be working on it a bit more to fix some of the bugs, if you’re interested.

You can control torque and max speed for each individual wheel. You can’t control acceleration (with a higher torque), as there is no system to sync the wheels up. If you’d like, I could add that feature. Just choose which suspension system you want, as the “suspension test” and “chassis sandbox” systems are different.

You can even change these properties while the system is running!

I’ve sent you a friend request, my discriminator is 4357.

I might be interested. Will take a look and contact you when I get home

Well, it does work on mobile

Would recommend Terrodactyl, his physics work is honestly very neat!

One of them yeah, the other didnt seem to have mobile access available

what do you mean, the games? let me fix that, both of them are 100% mobile compatible, the ones with extra keybinds even use UIS

Edit: Nup, both games have mobile access

Still looking!
If you know anyone who can create or has made a fully scripted car chassis, please let me know!

Zephyred has OpenChassis as a free model :upside_down_face:

Edit: Unsure if it still works today though

Thanks for letting me know! I will take a look at it

Can I inquire why you take only scripted suspension, and not physics based?

I have an interesting set of chassi (is that the plural?) at this testing grounds: GreekForge's Physics Location - Roblox

Yes, I will however note that, these are physics based cars (most of them anyways).

Well, the most I can say for those is that they don’t have the “wobble” that mine does :stuck_out_tongue: But in terms of handling, it could be much better imho

Thanks for sharing your chassis. It’s not bad but I prefer a scripted suspension overall because it is less likely to glitch, not as “bouncy” and mostly, more stable.

I currently already use a physics based chassis in my game, but I have ran into multiple issues which is why I would prefer a fully scripted chassis

Hey mate, if I were you I would check out some of the basic a-chassis since they run entirely off scripts and are extremely customizable, also some of the ss6 chassis such as the l025 build is extremely adjustable and features options like turbos, cc’s of the engine, camber, and many other things that other chassis lack.
Here’s a link if you wanna check it out https://www.roblox.com/library/759112322/SS6-Build-L025-SUSPENSION

I can help, I have 5 months experience of scripted car chassis.
