[CLOSED] Scripter - Builder - Terrain | Inbound WWii FPS

About Me

Hi there, I have been using Roblox since 2012 and developing since 2015. I enjoy building, 3D modeling, and logo design. I was accepted earlier this year into the DevForum as a New Member and I find it very useful but I don’t find myself using it unless I need it for help.

About the Job

Now, to the juicy stuff. The game I am working on is called Inbound and I have set a lot of things up and planned many more things in my head. The game is based in WWii on a fictional island with real locations from historical sights in WWii. I initially planned this game to be a Battle Royale but if the whole Battle Royale genre dies before our project ends then I suppose it could be transformed into a massive WWii shooter.

Builder - You will work mostly on buildings for the map. There are cities, factories, air bases, beaches, and more. I will be building with you.

Scripter - You will be scripting the whole game. Anywhere from weapons to vehicles to game functions. If needed, I may hire a second scripter.

Terrain Editor - I created part of the map in triangle terrain but later decided to use smooth terrain. The map itself is 4069 x 2706 (11,010,714) studs with additional water around the map.

Payment

I am paying the developer on a percentage basis based on how much work you do. I may award bonuses after the game releases if we do well financially. I will create a group soon, so I can list payments.

Sounds like a cool project, would be curious to see who would apply for scripter/builder. Just bumping this for you. :stuck_out_tongue:

Bump

Maybe, I haven’t worked with gun scripting that much so to get something fluent out of it would take time. I had been messing around with it earlier to get the arms to follow the camera.

As for this whole thing, how often are we expected to work on it? whenever we have the time, is there any deadlines that will have to be met?

Reason I ask is school always comes before something like this for me, if I have homework that comes before developing something.

There is no set time you are required to work. I would just say, when you have free time. I have school coming up too so it will be tough to work on it during school days especially with work.

If you would like to apply, contact me on one of my contacts I listed and send some work with it.

Thanks,
SturdyStubs
