I think this is a wonderful opportunity for me to share my personal experience in Roblox development and how it’s helped me achieve some of the goals I thought I wouldn’t ever be able to at such an early age. Roblox provides an enroumous amount of resources and materials as well as an interactive development community that has helped so many people including myself take on development at an early age and hopefully turn it into a career.
If you have achieved something through Roblox that you are truly proud of, I strongly suggest you take this opportunity to share that experience with as many people as you can.
Is there an age for the blog? I am just wondering because we last saw with the challenge thing last year that you gotta be over 18 and not alot of us have reach that milestone
I recently started running some experiments with AI on Roblox that I was going to just share with my friends but this provides an awesome platform to post my results, conclusions and general experiences to a wider audience.
Can you guys provide what a Developer blog looks like? I’ve already submitted mine, but I’m curious on how it will be formatted / how it will look like.
Bless you and the roblox employees for not having a deadline. I have an idea for a blog, but my only game doesn’t really do a good job of showing what I want to write about.
I am currently writing an article about the concepts of using design patterns in Game Design. Software Engineers have patterns so why can’t game designs have them too? The prerequisites exclude my participation. I don’t have a ready portfolio, and too shy to share my designs(they’re not ready yet). I’ll use #resources:community-tutorials instead of Medium, they’re in essence-- the same. Being able to participate in publishing for Medium interests me.
Quick question. Could this be a link to a topic you’ve made on the developer forum (that isn’t a portfolio of course, possibly your most viral tutorial)? Because I don’t have a game or portfolio to put here.
Hello everyone!!! We received a ton of submissions and are still working through them. Y’all are crazy talented and it has been a blast reading through some of these blog ideas
Quick Safety PSA!
There have been some reports of staff impersonation on Discord, so please be careful if you receive any suspicious messages from anyone claiming to be Roblox staff. I’d recommend double checking mutual servers, mutual friends, asking them to message you through the Forums, etc.
For example, if me or coefficients message you on Discord, check that the account is also in the Dev Forum servers and consider yelling at us - tell us to email you (and check that it is a @ roblox .com email) or message you via Dev Forum DM instead!
Do note that staff will NEVER ask you to copy/paste any strange links or files. Be careful, be safe, and remember to double check the identity of anyone claiming to be staff
