Clothes appear blurry in studio

Howdy!

Recently I ran into an issue where everything is incredibly low-resolution, and stuff like particles don’t even appear. All the posts I found about this issue are from ~2016, so those weren’t really of help.
My current guess is that the reason of the issue might be my internet, which is at steady 20 kbps average.

Literally any help is appreciated, I am going insane from this!

Here are screenshots of my issue;

Does it look differently outside of studio? Maybe the clothes ARE just low quality.

They are not, they appear perfectly normal outside of studio, previously they also appeared completely normal, here are some older screenshots;

All maxxed out, including texture quality!

I believe that this ultimately depends on what Roblox determines is optimal for your system. When I play on my PC, everything has great quality. However, when playing on a laptop that can barely run Roblox, clothing sometimes appears as just two blurry spots, even with max graphics.

That’s really unfortunate. Mayhaps there’s some workaround for the issue to override it? It really affects my work flow, as I am pretty much unable to do GFXs now due to the issue.

The only way I know of to possibly affect this is through any of these settings.

As previously stated, I did go through them.

you said it could be your internet? if the place is saved as a local file you should be able to use it without the internet right?

Correct me if I’m mistaken, but that feature was removed sometime in 2018-2020.

I tested it a bit and it seems you can access local files as long as you are already logged in to Roblox Studio.

I do have the GFXs saved as local files, and it still doesn’t make the clothes look as expected, if you mean that.

Solution found!
I’ve randomly discovered that by clicking a part of the model (arm, leg), it resets the textures, and makes them look as they’re supposed to!

edit: nevermind, solution seems to no longer work
