- Get your pants asset moderated by a DMCA takedown
- Go through the appeals process and get the asset restored
- Try on or buy and put the pants on your avatar
Expected Behavior:
I expect that when an asset is restored that all the associated parts of the asset will be restored with it, including the pants template which is an image separate from the actual clothing. The player will be able to apply the clothing and have the clothing show on their avatar identical to pre-moderation.
Actual Behavior:
Roblox Support doesn’t actually know the difference between the clothing and the image associated with the clothing, and they only restore one. If you tell them about this issue, they tell you that they don’t see anything wrong with it. When you wear the clothing, it will become invisible instead of actually showing the asset in the thumbnail. This is because the image containing the template that will be applied to your character is still moderated, but the related clothing isn’t. This item has 100k+ sales, so the people who paid for it should be able to wear their clothing they purchased.
