So I made some clothes for a group…Names it out of the format I wanted to use cuz I was tired
It won’t let me change the name or description of the clothing. I’ve tried the Take off sale and change and put it back, I sat for 20 mins playing around trying to make it work. Anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it?
Go to your creator dashboard, click the “Avatar Items” button, find the clothing item under the respective category (e.g. T-Shirts, Shirts, Pants), and click on the item you are trying to change. When you finish making the changes, make sure you click the “Save Changes” button.
But if you’ve already tried/done all of that, I’m going to assume it is some kind of issue you are experiencing, because trying it right now, it works fine for me. I would wait a day or two, and try contacting support if you still can’t.

If you’re unable to change the name or description of clothing items in a group, check your permissions, ownership, group affiliation, and any platform limitations. If the problem persists, contact support.
Go to Support - Roblox, fill out the information, select “PC” for the platform, and “Bug Report” for the help category. Just explain the issue in the description box and submit it. It can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple days to get a response.
I own the group so that shouldn’t be an issue. Ill check with support
EDIT: believe Roblox updated the website and the issue is now fixed
I’m having these issues as well, I tried to update two different items I my group that I own, but it didn’t work for either one when I tried editing the descriptions for them. Seems to be a recent bug/issue as well.
