I. Introduction
First of all, congrats on joining Cloud Cafe’s MR team! We’re happy to have you as part of our wonderful MR team. We are grateful that you have chosen to work with us and are eager to watch you develop at Cloud Cafe.
As with any reputable firm, Cloud Cafe has certain basic expectations of you as a Staff Assistant. We hope to cover as many of those expectations in this guide. For instance, shadowing, expectancies, and commands, to mention a few, should never be utilized. We chose you to be a Staff Assistant because we think you can handle these responsibilities and can comply with our basic requests. This holds for the entirety of your time here as an MR.
We genuinely hope you enjoy your time working at Cloud Cafe! Why don’t you attempt to get to know some of the MRs or HRs? We’re all quite amiable and nice. They can also help you stay upbeat and the happy person we want you to be.

II. General Formalities
Activity
When new employees join our team, we’ve seen that activity may be a problem for some of them. It’s okay that occasionally we all worry about being unable to be online. However, if you intend to leave Cloud Cafe for longer than expected, such as three to four days, you must inform an HR+ that you wish to file an Inactivity Notice (INs). This notification of inactivity must specify the duration of the alleged period of inactivity as well as one or more reasonably specific reasons. Please be aware that INs do not excuse you in any way from extremely lengthy periods of idleness without any updates. You’re only preventing an active MR from joining our team by taking that slot.
Additionally, activity during sessions and activity in cafes are both equally weighted. You can excel at attending sessions while simultaneously forgetting about the café, or vice versa. That’s fantastic, but both programs and the café need action. Even though you might not think it’s fascinating or anything, it’s a necessary component of your profession. You should keep an eye on the café as well; don’t forget about it. We track the number of applications you examine so we can see whether you are slacking in that area. For STs, application reviewing action is equally significant to session and café activity.
Grammar
Grammar isn’t a big problem for the great majority of our MR Team members. Grammar played a big influence in our decision to choose you, and we are certain that you can succeed. Please refrain from using poor grammar going forward. You’ll get warned for it, especially if you don’t make amends for errors you’ve already made and have ignored.
Having said that, the LR audience isn’t excellent and the too-advanced grammar is incomprehensible to the bulk of our younger clients. All of your word selections must be accessible to our younger audience members. Although it’s a nice skill to have, it may not be at the level where it’s challenging to speak with you in sessions or at the café.
If you can’t identify these straightforward grammatical errors during training and interviews, you’ll get warnings that might eventually result in a promotion.
Maturity
We expect you to act respectfully and professionally at all times while you are at the cafe. If you engage in staff lounge banter during group games where LRs are present or are joking with friends while at the cafe, even if they aren’t employed by Cloud Cafe, your I’m off duty justification will be rejected. You could be immature to some extent after the LRs are gone (after a session). This implies that you must be wise and refrain from abusing the administrator for your amusement.
You must also show respect to every member of the HR staff by complying with their requests. Anyone’s attitude is not tolerated and is subject to warnings, if not a demotion. Leaking information from our private discord channels is also not authorized. If someone asks you for leaks, kindly decline their request and report them to HR as soon as you can. Your employment at Cloud Cafe will be immediately terminated as a result of them, or at the very least, it will be sternly reviewed. We do not take leakage lightly at all.
In groups affiliated with Cloud Cafe, you are required to conduct yourself professionally as an MR. This includes refraining from trolling or inciting conflict elsewhere. Negative activities taken at affiliated organizations will have repercussions, and they could even be handled the same way as if they were done at Cloud Cafe. Since you are the best representative of our team, any misconduct or improper behavior in a public game will have repercussions; if we learn about it, a demotion is probably in the cards.
Discord Expectations
We still have the same expectations for you as a server customer, although you are now an MR. Regardless of your status, you must abide by the server’s regulations since you are a member of the server. Server regulations must always be observed, including in staff channels. Additionally, even though you are not required to use grammar in public channels (public/general conversation), we do want you to act maturely and decently in those situations in front of non-MRs because you are, after all, our public face. Please be aware that profanity is never permitted.
Account Safety
When you join the Cloud Cafe team as a staff member, you have access to various privileges and confidential information that few other organizations do (for example, admin rights, access to private message boards, and audit logs)! Because there is so much at risk if you are careless with your account information, it is crucial to guarantee that your account is completely safe. Not even admin friends or siblings are permitted to have access to your Roblox, Discord, or Trello account passwords since you shouldn’t trust anybody with such information. Even though it might not always be you, you will be held accountable for everything that happens on your account!

We also have a fantastic admin facility. As a staff assistant, you will receive administrative support, but kindly remember that it is there for the group’s benefit instead of your own. In light of this, the following commands should never be used at any time or any group place:

Code Of Conduct
‣You are required to be able to respond effectively and accurately to specific circumstances at the café. This compilation forum is available to assist you in deciding whether it is appropriate to impose a player ban; it should be used as a broad reference to aid you in carrying out your administrative duties.

I. The MR+ Channels

Staff Chat
is the channel where Staff Assistant+ (MR+) members are allowed to socialize freely, thus the term “Chat”. You’re allowed to engage in a lighthearted conversation with non-MRs, but it must not reflect poorly on the staff. You’ll face harsh repercussions if it is discovered that you are spreading improper conduct or leaking sensitive information from Second Life. To be on the safe side, you shouldn’t even contemplate leaking anything from SL, but if you do, I’d suggest speaking with HR first to be sure. -
Spam Reports is used to display spams and other banned content that you can handle.

MR Announcements is the most crucial channel for you to pay attention to as an MR because it has all the information you need to stay current on employee announcements. This channel should never, ever be muted because it’s essential to becoming an MR. Never leak MR Announcements, and anybody found guilty of doing so will face severe punishments.
V. Start Training

You’ll get familiar with the three responsibilities that an admin could play as soon as you become an MR. The text goes into further detail about your duties and obligations as a shadow in a subsequent part. At the position of Staff Assistant, you can only be a Shadow until you are promoted to S. Since you would have often shadowed as an SA, by the time you obtain S, you should be fully capable of training. An S+ may both host and serve as an actual Trainer in the sessions.

You may only follow Trainers (S+) as a SA. You would be able to tell if a Trainer did not have a shadow since no one would be standing behind them. Simply stand behind the Trainer you wish to shadow on one of the platforms. Finally, your trainer will talk with you about the training session’s activities and send any necessary shadowing guides. You could be required to complete certain beverages or orders, a general knowledge test, and a trolling simulation by your trainer.

Please note that you aren’t permitted to leave the session until the host dismisses you. You must stay attentive. Whilst training, also look out for Trainees, Junior Cashiers, Cashiers, and Senior Cashiers making grammar mistakes. If they make a mistake, you must correct it and strike them.
