Code Minimap Plugin

Possible. I’ll experiment, but that’s unlikely to be added since I’d have to revamp the whole thing to use text and dynamically swap.

Dude a dollar? This is underpay for you.

I don’t know if this is what you already had in mind, but:

couldn’t this be done by using text labels from the start and setting their BackgroundTransparency to 0.3/1 depending on the visibility? (While the BackgroundColor is the tokens color)

Edit: Since the frames arent completely opaque the TextTransparency would also need to be changed between 1 and 0

I have no clue how the syntax highlighter works in this plugin so I’m unsure how easy the switch would be.

Sorry for a lot of replies, I just can’t get this plugin out of my head.

That’s a good idea. Like I said, I’ll be looking into this later.

Yet I was harassed viciously over 43 cents, and this plugin was originally $1.75 and I was hassled until I lowered it to a dollar. That’s why this is my last plugin, I’ve quit.

What? This is your last? People have to understand that you work hard on this. If I wanna buy a real antivirus software that programmers worked hard on, I need to pay for it. And do you have a list of all the plugins you have created?

Man, really sucks to hear that this may be your last plugin that you will make. Nevertheless, I will still continue to support your works and plugins in the end.

This is a great plugin, would’ve definitely bought it at a higher price, it’s worth it. Excited to add this to my workflow.

I found a syntax highlighting error (I don’t know if this is the right place to post it but here I am anyway)

In the Roblox editor it gets highlighted like this:
roblox

In your highlighter it gets highlighted like this:
highlighter

Good find. Give me 5 minutes and I’ll fix that lol

Edit: Should be fixed, lmk if I broke any other highlights

Very sad this is your last plugin since you make really good and helpful stuff for the platform and for the Devs of this one! I don’t understand the people being like

“Oh no, is 1.75 dollars!! A plugin that took him hours of work and NO-ONE else wanted to do or weren’t capable of!!”

^ This?! This is underpay your work dude and you shouldn’t care about anyonelse more than your-self. You give value to your work as you tell, no the other people!!

Really sad that a legend is leaving the Plugin Market!

Also, this plugin is really good and I bought it to support you and actually this will make some kinda my life easier!

Have a nice day and hope you re-consider keep giving this awesome plugins to the platform!

I found another one!

If you do it like this it works just fine:

This bug also happens when using multi-line strings that contain one (or more) = between the brackets. (Exact same repo as above)

wow it is an excellent complement! Thanks to you, it is now easier for programmers to find errors, navigate faster through the script, etc.
the plugin is too good to be so cheap, i don’t understand how people can criticize the price. excellent work.

Wow, this is wonderful for me as I always get overwhelmed with long chunks of code especially if an error is made. Thank you so much for this minimap. Your work is truly amazing.

It’s a shame that this might be the last plugin from you :frowning:
Nonetheless, definitely gonna install this later today. And once again, incredible job! :open_mouth::clap:

Would it be possible to add a setting to switch between ActiveScript and the currently selected script?

I switch between script tabs a lot and it is getting annoying to keep selecting the current script in the object explorer.

I was already planning on adding ActiveScript support I just couldn’t find the API due to the awful DevHub search engine! Thank you for linking it!

Update:

  • Active Editor Support

You can now set your minimap to display your currently open editor, or your last selected script! It is set to Selection by default for backwards compatibility, but your setting saves so change it once and you won’t have to worry about constantly setting it. It’s super simple to switch between the settings, and the wonderful icons I commission from @Elttob should make it very clear.
