About Me
Hello! My name is Logavix, but you may call me Log or Loga for short. I am a builder and I do a bit of 3D modelling. I’m looking for a scripter who does UI as well, to collaborate on a project with me! It’ll just be us 2, working hard together on project together. I’ve been searching long and far for someone, so let’s hope this is the post!
What we will be doing
Firstly, we will be getting to know each other. I will then explain the project to you in detail. We will be working on 2 projects. The first being one to get us some money and to get us out there and will be our main project for a bit. It is a round based game with a lobby and stuff. I’ve already nearly finished the first map for the game. The second project we will be doing is a more serious project that will take some time, but will be a masterpiece. But you don’t have to worry about that one yet. One at a time.
What I need from you
As an advanced scripter, you should be able to script pretty much anything. Your UI doesn’t have to be the best, but it needs to be decently good. I’m mainly focused on your scripting skills. Here is a bit of a list of things you will be doing in the first game.
You must be able to script the following:
- Level system, meaning XP and getting the XP
- A shop system and currency
- A round system system where players are teleported to the lobby while not playing and stuff like that(like in epic minigames)
- Script the animations
- Countdown bomb system of multiple bombs
These are just the major things.
One more thing I want from you is daily communication. I completely understand you have a life, and thus daily communication is key.
Other details
When you join, I will organise you and everything. I already have a studio all set up and prepared for us. You will need to promise you won’t destroy the map or use it for anything other games without permission. Cause believe me, the scripter I worked with did. I really hope that you will work well with me and not bail.
Payment
Seen as it’s a collaboration, we will be splitting 50/50. If we work hard and stay determined, we will do well.
