Out of nowhere, our new game that we’ve been working on randomly stopped allowing my team to join the team create session, and throws this error at them:
Thankfully, I can still edit and work on the experience, as well as run in studio playtests, but whenever I try and join the game on roblox, It shows Error Code 260:
What I except to happen is for my team to be able to access the team create session, as well as everyone to be able to have access to our game on roblox.
I’m having the same issue. It started happening around the time you posted this. I published my game, went to join it, and I couldn’t join until people started playing. Tried opening the studio and I have the same error as you. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!
I reverted to a older version just now, and it works just I lost several hours of progress. Thankfully this revert was on a testing place I had for the game and not the main game. But I’m hoping I wont have to revert my progress on the main game
Hi EyeSeeYou,
Thank you for posting this bug. I’m sorry that you are having issues with your place. We are looking into the cause of this. Would you mind checking with your team members to see if they could send their Studio logs for when this fails?
Hello @TheLavaCreeper5406
Can you remove the HapticEffect instance you put into the game? Right now HapticEffect is in studio beta and we don’t support publishing it to client.
Once you remove the instance, the issue should be resolved.
The solution PickleSandwich gave me worked for our game, so if you or the owner of the game you’re trying to work on has the new HapticEffect instances contained in the game, or even the beta feature enabled, deleting these instances and turning off the beta feature just to be safe should fix the issue.
