Colorless - Explanation & Details
I have no idea why but I’m lagging a lot in this game.
I do like the GUIs and visuals quite a bit though
It’s the hallway, I don’t know how to fix that lag. :frowning:

Tried to union the doors, they are mostly made out of meshes.

Lag and all errors are fixed with the help of Xeptix.

Interactions are now working completely, door is now able to be opened.
Infinite hallway illusion created, fogs up after a certain amount of time walking down the hallway then will teleport you to the next part of stage 1. (Haven’t made part 2 of stage 1 so it will not teleport).

Added a trello board for Colorless!
x needs to be responsive, just like any other button, on hover.

You can grab the normal blocky character’s meshes from your content folder, and by doing so, you enchant the experience, while not running into problems with healthbars, which it seems like you don’t want in your scenery. Animating the standing AI would be neat too. That’s suggestions, yay.

A fine experience, but my biggest "ouch"s focuses on the UI part. Keep us up to date with the project

The visitor board & black NPC filling the corridor with black paint… dunno what you’re using the board for. Noticed no FE with the board, you should use FE c: And hard to see the NPC :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve received complaints the intro is too long. The framework itself loads in less than a second. I’ll fix up the intro.

Colorless will now be developed by a team as a whole!

The game will be hosted from a Group game very soon. Give 3-5 weeks for the transfer. (This time will allow us to alert players that the game is moving.)

Why? To equally share profits among us equally. And make it much more easier to develop together.

Colorless has been succesfully ported over.

Colorless is Paid access to support the funds for Team IR.

Everything is explained in the description.
Play the new version here!
Colorless - [Postponed] - Roblox
Asking people to play your paid access game on these forums is kinda lame.

Sorry. its that way since its in testing.
Will be free to play soon, but for now no. However purchasing helps out Team IR greatly!

=)

It’s actually not too bad of an idea, since most people undervalue robux due to being able to devex them, although, I agree it’s in bad taste to ask someone to essentially test something (RBXDev people always give good feedback if feedback is asked for) and then require them to pay you for testing

Maybe try access codes? a code you could give RBXDev people, to be able to enter a testing place for free? I’ve thought of doing codes for my game, once I’m ready to release it, they aren’t a bad marketing idea either, for ads and stuff to give out, so the code can be reused quite well

I love this idea, thanks for that thought.
I did feel bad for asking people to test while having them pay money to do so.

I will create a Rbx Dev version for sure!

Yes… my evil plan to get an equal number of thankyous as posts is going well, muahahahaha!

I should’ve read what you said about making a RBXDev version before I spent my hard earnt 35R$. :frowning:

Anyway, I found a bug where the breathing mechanism you did for first person messes up giving a result like this:
Imgur
As you can see the player’s first person camera is way below what it should be. I caused this bug to happen by just scrolling in and out at random times. I’m not sure exactly how to recreate it, but Im sure you’ll manage to if you just fiddle around with it for abit.

Ah, sorry about that. I will make a test server for everyone in the Rbx Dev group on the ROBLOX site for everyone here to test for free.

I will fix that first person bug as soon as possible, thanks for pointing that out!
