Combat does not feel smooth

Hello, I need help with the combat aspect of my game. It is parry based with no lock on unlike the Souls games, but the issue is that the combat is janky at times, such as the parry windows being delayed due to roblox limitations. I am aiming for my combat to feel as if you were playing Elden Ring and Sekiro at the same time. (Parrying and dodging) Could anyone give me ideas on what I could change to achieve this?

The portals don’t even seem to work.

never had that issue before, you’re supposed to create your character before using the Green portal, the orange one is for the future
