I am trying to upload an avatar item I made a while back. This took me honest 6-8 hours, but I have left it in multiple parts. Does anyone know I can combine all these parts to make it attachable to the back of a UGC? I tried by using a plugin which only let me select one part even if it was in a model.
Please give me any tips.

Right click model > Export selection
Then import it back.
That ruins the decals though.
How can I preserve the decals and do it?

i am having the exact same issue, im looking everywhere to try to find out how to fix this 
You can save the decals, and slap it on a image to make a UV map.
