Commit failed with internal error: Publish Assets - Http status error (500) HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error), response body

Hey! I was just working on a game and I wanted to “commit” the scripts. When I did that it took around 10 seconds and then I got an error saying “commit failed with internal error: Publish Assets - Http status error (500) HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error), response body”. Is this an outage or just something wrong on my end?

roblox has been acting up for the past week or so

best thing to do is just wait for it to be sorted out

Alright! I was wondering because I was looking around in the Devforum and I found that people had this error before so I was unsure if it was on my end or an outage or something.

Outage, any HTTP 500 is internal. Possibly due to backend refactoring causing an oopsie!

Yeah. we’re just going to have to wait for Roblox to fix the servers.

this happens to publishing too

It is an outage not an issue on your end. It will probably be fixed shortly.

Hello @willscript ,

This has already been reported to the Roblox staff team and they are working on a fix as soon as possible.

I haven’t touched my games in a while just to come back to this. The timing is just flawless.
