Community Locked With No Warning

Around a week ago, a community I own, Shaping Sekaiju, was spontaneously taken down. This was a surprise to everyone in the community, though following some Appeals, we found out the apparent reason was an old (non-functional) link to the community’s Discord Server, which would count as directing players off the Roblox site.

Alright then, we’ll remove it… However, it seems every possible means we could do so has been locked away from us. Obviously, the community’s standard edit page is unavailable; however, the Group Profile page in the Creator Hub refuses to load, and even trying to load the community edit page by opening another group and swapping the IDs in the URL fails. A request to have the offending description reset or wiped in Roblox Support was also seemingly left unanswered, with no further replies having been given after several days.

I’m left with little options other than to make a thread here. The community being locked has been a huge setback to our game, as it renders us incapable of updating the assets which it requires to run, seemingly as an additional effect of locking the group - effectively making it nigh-impossible to update.

Considering the link was in the community description for years and not so much as a warning was given before locking the community, the situation seems very unfair, especially considering all means to resolve the situation (which would be very easy to do, and which I have repeatedly shown a clear will to cooperate on) have also been shut down.

So, that leaves us here. Any help to get the community unlocked would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Try opening a new ticket or replying to it, sometimes it takes multiple tickets for them to revert a mistake. Either way, an offsite link such as a Discord shouldn’t be enough to warrant your whole group being locked, unless there is some context here that isn’t being provided.

ive seen peoples groups be locked for just paying their devs , giving stupid reasons like " your selling robux " its insane how they lock groups with little to no effort of actually investigating of whats going on yet the groups that violate roblox tos with stealing assets , upload inappropriate stuff or make condo games remain unpunished

Looks like the lock was reverted. Hurray!
