Not interested in the job (only 13), but why are you asking for 18+ for a one-time job? It makes sense for a long-term job, but this is something a teenager could easily do. Not sure why you are setting the age limit so high.
EDIT: This is eleven days old, I get it, you don’t have to keep telling me.
Speaking of maturity, don’t assume I’m complaining. I said I can’t and am not interested in the job. It just very much surprises me that they want 18+ on a platform, a majority consisting of teenagers.
Crown Academy is owned by PixelatedCandy a developer with over 1.3 billion visits. They probably want someone who is mature enough to take on a serious job.
You shouldn’t really be that surprised. You’d be very lucky to find many large games where the minimum age requirement isn’t >18. Adults are far more reliable than children and they can legally sign into contracts (NDAs, etc. Safe to assume you will have to sign them for this position).
Nonetheless, I wish anyone who does apply for the position to the best of luck with this amazing opportunity!
The age requirement is standard for any game company of their scale. Additionally, the type of code a 13-year old produces is (typically) something very different than what you’d see from older developers with experience working on multiple games. 18 is a pretty common age requirement.
