I recently uploaded concept art of various gazebos and houses on ArtStation and want to share them here as well. I drew them on paper without using a computer. In the summer, I plan to try applying for an art director position, as I have over five years of experience in modeling, about 2-3 years in visual effects, and significant experience in UI design. However, what I enjoy the most is drawing and designing various buildings, maps, and other locations.
This is just a small part of my work—I have much more! I’ll be sharing more in the future.
My dream for the future is to become an art director at a studio. I have a highly developed imagination and strong creative skills, as I mentioned earlier. And no matter what it takes, I will make this dream come true!
Why an Art Director instead of an Environmental Artist? Because I enjoy not only creating individual environment pieces but also developing the entire visual style and concept of a project, ensuring consistency and quality in the design. I love designing buildings, maps, and locations, and crafting unique atmospheres for projects.
Being an Art Director allows me to oversee the artistic process, work with a team, guide other artists, and bring big ideas to life. I have a strong imagination and creative thinking skills, and I want to use them not just to create environments but to shape entire worlds that look cohesive and compelling.
Of course, I appreciate environmental art as well, but my ultimate goal is to become an Art Director because I want to do more than just create—I want to define the visual direction of a project.
I may have a little bit of the same dream, but I think for myself, I want to be a trio of things. Maybe a Jack of all trades. Specializing in 4 things, Modelling, Animation, Visual Effects, And Design, and then intermediate level knowledge on the rest. I don’t know what you mean by studio, maybe game studio, but for me, I want to join an Animation Studio. Like Dreamworks, Illumination, Pixar, etc.
Oh yeah, creating animated movies is really cool! I once wanted to do that too. I was referring to a game studio, and I’m also planning to start working on my own project closer to summer.
Still, I really hope you find yourself in the field you truly enjoy, and may your dreams come true!
This concept art for your game looks awesome and good! Great job! How long did this take to draw? Will you draw more things? The art is very detailed and good!
