Hello! I am a little confused about premium payouts. On my small projects that literally get no players (except when I would rarely play with friends), I’ve noticed I’ve been getting 50-150 premium payouts occasionally. This is surprising since the projects get no players and aren’t even supposed to be actual games. Now, almost a month after releasing my first real game, the developer stats are predicting about 40-80 robux. I have a small fan-base of the game and it gets a few active players every now and then. Many premium players have spent hours grinding and I’ve seen them logging on multiple days in a row. The game is doing miles better than my small projects, but the premium payouts aren’t adding up.
Do premium payouts only work for experiences and not places? My game has a lobby/elevator type system where you teleport to a place inside the experience. On average, people spend a few minutes in the lobby before playing and teleporting to the actual game (which is understandable). I’m confused on how premium payouts work because I don’t think a project with no active players should be getting more premium payouts than my small game with a small active fan-base (having some people who grind and are premium).
If anyone could provide information, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
(Here is the link to the game if anyone is wondering: low budget tower defense [ALPHA] - Roblox)
I think its either that you have premium on your own account and are just getting the monthly robux that those on default get,
as far as I know it works in both experiences and places, likely the people who play your small game are mainly not premium or the premiums dont play enough
and on the smaller one that you get money from are likely having more premium players in sparse amounts, you should search the topic
I’m not sure. I don’t have premium on my main account, and I have noticed a few premium players grinding for hours on my actual game. When I sometimes play with friends on smaller projects, it’s only for about 2 hours max every month or so (and usually only 1 or 2 of us have premium).
I tried researching it, but all the posts I’ve found don’t really explain much. Thank you for your response though! I will try researching for about premium payouts to see if I can find any other articles/posts.
It shows an average of around 5-10 minutes of average visit length. I don’t know if that includes the teleportation to places though. Some people have played for hours, and games usually take 20-40 minutes. I assume it’s only calculating the time spent in the lobby, which originally led me to believe premium payouts only counted for experiences instead of places (no idea how accurate I am).
Either way, I appreciate your help! I’ll try looking into more statistics and searching the forum.
Some games like Grand Piece Online have a special hub where after a hour spend in you can get a reward.I’m sure that Premium Payout can be earn by all places in the experience
