so when im in studio it doesnt load and shows “Connecting to server…”
when i try to hit play the roblox loading frame freezes

After a bit of browsing there seems to be a few instances of other people having the same issue, however it seems like no resolution was found.
As a last ditch effort, try the following:
- Close Roblox Studio.
- Open the Roblox Studio application on your desktop. What I mean by this is don’t press “Edit” on a game to open studio from there, simply click it on your desktop.
- Try once more.
Although I’ve never had this happen to me, this probably won’t do anything however I figure it may be worth a shot. I’ve had a few weird things happen to me in studio previously and the root cause seemed to resolve itself after opening it from the desktop app, rather than opening it from the Roblox site with the edit button.
You could also try logging in and out again as well as ensuring no one is in an active team create session for that specific place. If both of these still don’t work, I have a few other obscure fixes you could try out.

They still don’t work i tried everything you said
What is really confusing me is it only does that to that specific place im editing rightnow and other games i made work fine
My team mate made a repeat script without even adding a cooldown to it

That would probably be an issue, especially if you don’t have a powerful computer. Add a cooldown to the repeat script and see if it lets you play it now

I assume Team Create is on? Can you load other places?
If @alphadoggy111’s solutions didn’t work, you could try reinstalling. If that also doesn’t work, ask a friend to download a copy and make another Team Create place. If it still doesn’t work? Post on #bug-reports:engine-bugs.
