This forum post serves to display the most important section of the Constellia Code of Fair Play (CoFP). It is recommended to view the full CoFP to view expanded rules and information on our moderation policies.
Due to DevForum policies, I cannot post the full CoFP here. I would suggest looking on our game page and going to our community server, if you’re allowed to. You will find the CoFP there.
The following rules draw from Section 4E of the CoFP.
Note: certain terminology, sections, or details have been censored or omitted in order to comply with DevForum bulletin rules. It is highly recommended to view the full CoFP.

Do not intentionally create gameplay-impeding problems for other players.
Griefing other players is not permitted. Constellia has a very specific definition for what is and is not griefing.

Do not grief other players. Griefing will result in a warning up to a 3-day ban, depending on the severity of the offense.
Below are some examples of what does NOT count as griefing:
- Piracy.
- Killing other players.
- Stealing loose pieces of ore while mining.
- Looting ejected cargo or shipwrecks.

Causing drama or flame wars by bringing up or referencing sensitive topics is strictly prohibited. Talking about sensitive or divisive topics in an attempt to cause users to become hostile towards each other is not allowed. In general, you should avoid bringing up such topics.
Causing drama, whether intentionally or not, is a punishable offense. Intentionally inciting drama constitutes a 1-day ban at minimum. Unintentionally creating drama is punishable with a warning.
Note that this rule only applies to inflammatory subjects such as politics, race relations, foreign relations, controversial figures, etc. and faction drama does not fall under this rule unless it gets out of hand.

Using alt accounts to bypass any current moderation is strictly prohibited. You were moderated for a reason. Do not bypass any moderation.

Outside Behavior
Game moderators may ban users for off-game and off-ROBLOX behavior if they are found to be engaging in hate speech, harassment, illegal activity, or morally unacceptable behavior. Users may also be banned for egregious off-game and off-platform behavior.
Our goal is to foster a welcoming and positive environment. If players are engaging in egregious, illegal, or otherwise socially unacceptable behavior outside of Constellia, they may be banned. All outside behavior bans are permanent.
Engaging in hate speech or harassment, engaging in or consuming illegal activity or materials, or engaging in otherwise unacceptable behavior outside of Constellia may result in a ban.

Same thing as Threats, Extortion, Blackmail. The only difference is that threatening staff members is treated as a more serious offense, especially if the threats are made in response to moderation or development decisions. Threatening staff constitutes a minimum of a 7-day ban.

Black Market Operation
Do not operate black markets to facilitate real-money trading!
Do not establish, operate, or support groups and communities that facilitate real-money trading or proliferate RMT’d items and money. Establishing such black markets, helping to run them, or substantially contributing to them is grounds for a permanent ban.
Please bear in mind that simply buying from or selling to such black markets does not count as black market operation, unless a very large amount of transactions take place. “Substantially contributing” generally refers to offering sizable, direct donations. Just making transactions with these markets will result in an RMT ban.
Other
Game moderators may ban users for reasons not listed in the Code of Fair Play, if their behavior is particularly problematic. Individual reason notes will provide more information.
This reason is used when no other moderation reason is applicable to a user’s behavior, but it still warrants moderation for one reason or another. Generally, new rules will be created when these cases crop up. Getting the reason “Other” on your moderation note is very rare, unless it is being used for false moderation. It is recommended to appeal moderation for Other due to the high possibility of abuse.
ROBLOX TOS Violation
Follow the ROBLOX Terms of Service and Community Standards at all times.
Players are expected to abide by ROBLOX TOS and Community Standards while playing Constellia. Violating the ROBLOX rules may result in being banned.
Report System Misuse
Do not misuse the in-game reports system.
Players are encouraged to report players that are breaking rules. However, players may not send reports that are frivolous, obnoxious, or repeated. Do not spam reports, and do not send reports that fail to adequately explain a situation. Do not send bug reports or feature requests through the reports system. Misusing the reports system may result in a warning.
Reports should be concise, clear, and detailed. Simple reports such as “he did” or “she called me a bunny rabbit” are significantly more likely to be ignored than reports that accurately and effectively describe the problem.
False Reports
Do not falsely report other players.
We do not tolerate false reports. Do not send reports to players who did not break any rules. If you’re uncertain on whether something does break the rules, and send a report anyways, that does not count as false reports. You will only be moderated for false reports if the reported player obviously did not break any rules.
This list will be changed as time goes on. Be sure to check back every so often to see if anything is different. It is highly recommended to join the community server to receive updates when the rules are amended.
Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse to break them. There are ample resources to view them. All players are expected to read these rules and follow them at all times. We do not care if you didn’t know the rules because you never read them.
Note to forum moderators: everything here should be compliant with DevForum rules, but if you find anything that violates them please let me know what the problem is so I can amend this post accordingly. Thank you!
