Constraints are not active on the client, but are on the server

up until 3 days ago, the game was working beautifully - the ship would CFrame to the spawnlocation, sit the player down, and move right away. but now, when the character is loaded, linearvelocity - as well as angularvelocity - deactivates. it is not inactive from the start but deactivates upon CharacterAdded. none of the parts are anchored to anything, or welded to anchored parts and this seems to be place-specific


this is before the character loads (NumericAbyss408 is the ship’s name)

this is after Player:LoadCharacter() (Anumiri is the character)
I’m inclined to believe this to be a bug, but i wanna know if i did something wrong.
any help is greatly appreciated!
