Hello all, let me keep this simple. I want some criticism on this portion of a castle wall:
Be as mean as you’d like, leave any suggestions, and thank you for your time!
It looks good however I think you could add a little more detail. For example, adding some dents in the wall along with maybe some vines (if it is old)
I don’t see why you added be as mean as you’d like, this looks great! My suggestion would be to add more texture to the fence because even if there is any on it, it looks from my point of view like smooth plastic. Otherwise, great job!
I’ll definitely keep that in mind! Thank you for your suggestion!
I’d say remove the fence and replace it with a stone wall and use better textures for the top and the slate part.
I don’t know what that cylinder thing is, also I think it might look a bit better with longer pillars.
I’ll give you some constructive criticism on this piece of construction: It’s reminiscent to the 2016 building style of ROBLOX and it looks great.
Amazing!! maybe adding some depth would make it look more realistic? Nice work (:
The obvious flaw is the ease at which I could go around it, but I would need to be able to fly, at which point, I could go over the wall… Hmmm. Maybe that’s fine.
OK, I suppose the feedback has to be the roof is too bland. The cross beams could be wood, there could be some color here. The underside of the roof could be its own material as well.
I feel that there’s too much emphasis on using the premade materials. Maybe experiment with making your own roof tiles. There’s plenty of sculpting talent, but it’s not catching my eye.
This looks like a new castle. A new castle would also have flags and banners announcing who runs the place. Ivy might be starting up the wall but would still be pretty low. And old castle in contrast would be falling apart and overrun by ivy, maybe with faded flags and rusted metal.
It looks like a Roblox building. If you want it to look like a building, you should add more detail. Use other textures, too. If you’re feeling adventurous, might I suggest Blender?
