Guys I don’t know what to do with my YouTube channel anymore. Roblox Studio content is getting really repetitive and the only thing keeping it alive is shorts. I want to make things people will look at their notifications to see me and click it without hesitation. I tried YouTube’s inspiration, but everything is already made on it. And if I keep doing the same thing like game showcases, how tos, I’ll just fall into the “random content” category. I want to transition into something that’ll people will watch for fun and not for their benefit. I asked AI about it but it’s just telling me about myself more than how to transition.
I would link my YouTube channel but I think that goes against the rules for advertising? I’m not sure, please tell me if I’m wrong, but I post really well made videos and thumbnails and maybe you even watched one of my videos before

Hey Omari, totally feel you on this. Burning out on niche content—especially Roblox Studio tutorials—is something a lot of creators face, even if they don’t say it out loud. You’re clearly talented, and the fact that you’re thinking long-term instead of just chasing views shows a level of maturity most creators don’t hit until much later.
Right now, it seems like you’re caught between two paths:
- Educational Roblox Studio content (tutorials, guides, etc.)
- Entertainment-based content (devlogs, funny skits, storytelling, etc.)
Once you decide which direction feels most authentic to you, it’ll be way easier to commit and grow from there. Based on your post, it seems like you’re leaning toward the fun side, so if devlogs or more personality-driven content excites you—go for it! Tons of devlog channels exist, but everyone brings their own unique twist. If you can find a solid game idea that’s engaging and well-designed, building content around it could really take off.
Also, definitely keep leveraging Shorts—they’re a game-changer for audience growth. Long-form videos may take longer to gain traction, but once they hit the algorithm, they can explode.
Don’t get discouraged by what others are doing. Let it motivate you instead. You’ve got this—wishing you the best of luck, and I’m excited to see where you take things next!
