I have a faction in my game which I upload uniforms for. I make different variants for these uniforms, some with gloves, some with rolled sleeves, etc. However, 25% of the time they get moderated for “Discrimination, Slurs, and Hate Speech” even though the others are literally the exact same thing and have passed through moderation.
Here are the templates I’ve made that were moderated (I don’t care if anyone takes it):
Is there anything I should do to prevent my clothing from getting moderated for false reasons? There are no discriminatory or hateful items on the clothing I make.
Roblox thinks you’re making neo-nazi clothing (and that the pie-chart symbol thingy is some sort of hate symbol). Even if it doesn’t get the items accepted, you should still appeal for them just to get some sort of clarification (if you haven’t already). Roblox moderation can be in-consistent because you can get an entirely different person from a completely different culture looking at an item one day who’ll accept it, and then someone from another opposite side of the world who rejects it
I don’t want to have a chance of getting moderated every time I upload one of the uniforms, so is the best choice just for me to remove the symbol? I’ve contacted Roblox three times already for three different clothing items that were falsely moderated.
You should definitely get rid of it if that means it’ll stop the constant moderation. I’m certain you don’t want to constantly have to email Roblox to solve the issue each time one gets moderated. It’s very much not worth the trouble
