[Contest] Make profile avatars for the needy

My entries!
-snip-(Cleaned up the image border a bit on the last two)
The aliasing on that though… :stuck_out_tongue: Otherwise, great logos. I like the blue one without the border best.
Thanks! Which images have particularly bad aliasing? As I can fix that up.
They all have bad aliasing, but the first one isn’t as bad than the rest.
I can try and make them again and turn aliasing off completely, but I gotta wait for Paint.net to update first.

Hang on, you mean the aliasing is already practically non-existent? I see exactly what you mean now. Thanks for pointing it out.

Is this better?

How long, do you think, these will take to judge?

Considering I alone have 70 entries and many people did huge amounts as well I would guess its going to take time. The contest is also extra to their jobs, and not priority.

Makes sense. Also, you might want to make your entrys 100x100.

This is a must.

If any of you who are participating have not saved your images in 100x100 format, do so now! There is a chance the admins will not use your avatar if it has not been scaled appropriately.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s a tad bit unfair to make 9 million entries and variations? You’re sort of giving yourself a larger chance of winning. I feel like we should be restricted to just a few.

That’s silly. If you want a larger chance just make more. In any competition the people who try hardest will usually win, and the large number of entries from a few of the contests simply reflects that. Putting limits on ideas and creations is pretty much the opposite of what roblox does, anyway.

Alex’s and Archaic0’s look very similar.

Just saying.

Those borders.

Recent submissions have started to look like older submissions mashed together.

That was… Beautiful. <3

Mine were heavily influenced by Archaic and Arceus’. I made sure to include that in my post.

That’s not the problem. Everyone doesn’t have that sort of time to spend. I just feel like it would be more fair, everyone doesn’t have to make 70 variations just to compete with you guys.

I feel like part of the competition is finding enough time to make what you want. I, for example, do not have enough time to learn how to use 3D modeling to make my stuff look better, and I accept that and work around it by using techniques that take less time.

Either way, limiting the number of entries will only result in the end result not being as good as it could have been, and it is not the solution you’re looking for.

On top of this, the whole point of the contest is to make the website itself look better. Limiting others’ creativity is never a good thing, ever.

Welp, here are my submissions.

And dont forget, a smart person can still make good submissions in a small amount of time, and/or with limited software. I made mine using Roblox Studio and Paint.NET- hardly expensive and advanced image editors. You just have to make the most of what you have.

Contest’s already over, dude. Oh wait- well I assumed they meant it was over by Monday. O.o
