Hi! I’m serverModule, and I own a game that goes by the name of Ninja Masters, and I am looking to make the game fully compatible for console/controller users. Under the Content Agreement for enabling console players to join your game, one of the guidelines are that your game cannot contain “Intense Violence.”
The game is very simple, but it involves killing NPC’s and other players as well. There is no blood or anything, just the basic ROBLOX death, and you use very simple katanas to do so. I would like to push out my game to more platforms, but I’m afraid this may be holding me back from doing so. Is gameplay like this too violent to put out for controller players?
Thanks for reading,
serverModule.

I think it is allowed unless it don’t have a lot of blood and stuff because you see there are other popular games with basic killing. like vesteria?

Yeah I’m 99.9% sure that your game isn’t too violent to be on xbox. If it was it would mean there would be no pvp, sword fighting, shooters ect. roblox games on xbox. Phantom forces has an xbox version which is debatable more violent than your game. You should be fine making it compatible to xbox.

Thank you for both of these replies, they have been taken into account.
The ESRB has a rating guide on their website. Ratings Guides, Categories, Content Descriptors | ESRB Ratings
Graphic and realistic-looking depictions of physical conflict. May involve extreme and/or realistic blood, gore, weapons and depictions of human injury and death
Your game would probably only get a violence rating.

I disagree with @regularwolf. I think it would fall under cartoon
violence more accurately.
