That’s one way of doing it, but wouldn’t it be easier to just import the obj into blender or whatever the preferred 3D modeling sofware is, and then export it as a fbx file? No need for external software that way.
You’d still be downloading external software either way. This tutorial is mostly aimed at people who don’t want to download blender just to convert a OBJ file to an FBX file
The converter does not let me put in the mtl file and the fbx file it creates has no colors when I upload to roblox. Both .mtl and .obj are in the same folder.
I don’t need this mesh uploaded anymore, but I would like to replace some unions with meshes. This was the mesh I couldnt upload colors for StarWarsTest1.obj (102.5 KB)
