Hey, I’ve been working on a cooking game for a while. It’s still in the process of development, but I’m waiting for it to get a regular audience in order to start seriously working on my game. It’s in a playable state.
This game is inspired by another Roblox cooking game by the name of Kitchen Chaos from which I know the owner, which is also inspired from a game called Overcooked.
I’ve been scripting for quite a while, but the people that know me well know that I’ve worked on hundreds of games without finishing them. This is a first for me, so I’d like to get some of your feedback and idea if possible.
1.) Tables
The tables are not very portioned in size compared to my avatar, even with various scales
2.) UI
the tutorial is great, but i recommend maybe instead of having the whole screen of the tutorial just be one blank color in the background, perhaps having no background and instead having the camera angle pointed at a kitchen to fit more with the theme of the game
My personal view overall, i enjoy the game play and i do understand this is in early stages, but i would love to see more running around to do such as perhaps maybe adding a walk in, walk in freezer, and a reach in for the players to go and get the supplies they need for the dish they are preparing
I am a chef so i just have so many idea in store for the game that i have yet to see in a roblox restaurant game
Woahh! That’s really cool, I’m working on an Overcooked 2 inspired game as well!
I definitely see the resemblance with Kitchen Chaos, it feels a lot cleaner too.
I’m interested to see where this game goes! As for now, I’d suggest making ingredients cancollide false when being picked up.
