Cool reflections trick

So I was messing around with reflections and I couldn’t find any setting that didn’t make this gold bar look shiny.

So then I entered a negative variable into the reflection property and got this shiny glowing gold bar

Now I can make more accurate reflections on objects!


Update: It does not seem to work when running the game


Pretty cool. I’ve never thought to do that.

Make it Neon.
If that’s too shiny, then take your original gold bar (Anchored) and Ctrl D to copy it in place.
Make one of them Neon and change Part’s Size so it .01 studs smaller in each of the X,Y,Z axes.
Go to the larger ones Transparency Property and slide the Transparency until the other bar is as shiny as you like.

Maybe because your graphics settings aren’t high enough?
