I really like the first one, but the second one I have a different opinion on. I personally find it hard to differentiate the different players. I think this could be the effect of so many characters with similar colors packed together. Of course this varies person to person but that is my take on it.
Overall excellent job!

Correct, I think I used the effect on the second one too much. Thanks for the opinion!

In the first one it seems as you are holding the rat on your shoulder rather than the blue thing this may be due to the lighting

Looks great, I like how the light is reflected on your face to make the model more realistic and smooth.
