I’ve attempted to replicate what you’ve done and I got this:

I wanted to make the part half translucent so I can get in the skybox but I don’t think it will work out because the trees I have just fight with the sky:

When I set the transparency to 0 the issue is gone but I loose the skybox & the sun- I guess I have to make a skybox sphere to underlay the sky:
