I don’t get the point of this spawnpoint’s “coolness”
This is basically just 4 cylinders, how can you call it cool?

well it was futuristic It was for a hangout game but I scraped the idea.

at least it’s better than just having a grey part with a swirly-thing decal on it :neutral_face:

The ‘Cool’ title is not deserved though. How can you compare it to the ‘grey part’ which is not created for being a part of the design in builds?

He thought it was cool, and it’s just one person’s opinion. What’s so wrong with that? If you don’t think it’s cool then just let him know in a respectful way and provide constructive criticism, don’t bash and insult him over a simple term like “cool”.

I’m not trying to start any drama and in my eyes this could be taken as an insult.

Basically can be boiled down to, “You’re build is simple and isn’t cool at all.”

Literally just an opinion and harmless 4-letter word. You really don’t need to overreact about small things like this. Just give feedback and constructive criticism.

We should end this before it drags on.

It’s not an insult , he can express his opinion on this which could be used as constructive criticism. “Your build is simple and isn’t cool at all” is less helpful than what he said as it doesn’t give any detail to work on.

I don’t think that saying “This is basically just 4 cylinders, how can you call it cool?” provides a lot more detail either. There’s no implication on how to improve it, and it just seems rude to criticize someone’s work and not offering help or feedback on what to improve.

It’s alright. It’s pretty plain and lack-luster. You could add more things to the top of the spawn point to make it more interesting, right now it’s just glass.

You could add some particles to make it look and feel more like a spawn point.

I mean it does look cool but like it is easy to make but it does look way better than the default spawn pad :slight_smile:

It looks cool you may add particles effects to it.
Still looks good but it would be better with particles.

It looks pretty nice and simple. I would recommend using it in games related to sci-fi or futuristic tech.
