Copy and paste do not work

Reproduction Steps
System information: Windows 10
Reproduction file: CopyPasteBug.rbxl (27.5 KB)
(And any game with TextBoxes, including the default chat bar)

I am using the Roblox App from the Microsoft store. My friend is experiencing this issue too with their macbook.
I can not copy text from any TextBox using Ctrl+C.
I also can not paste text into any TextBox using Ctrl+V.

Expected Behavior
I expect Ctrl+C to copy my selected text in my TextBox. It works that way in all my other applications.
I expect Ctrl+V to paste my clipboard text in my TextBox. It works that way in all my other applications.

Actual Behavior
Ctrl+C does not affect my clipboard at all.
Ctrl+V does not paste my clipboard text into my TextBox.

I also often experience this, try restarting your computer.

You have the solution right here in this thread, as many people suggested, just download the Roblox client from the website. I have no idea why you would use the Roblox App on Windows, with that I have experienced countless bugs as well as performance issues. And as many had stated, it’s a deprecated app.

Not trying to force anything into you, just letting you know :smile:

If Roblox officially discouraged the use of the UWP app, they should take it down from the Microsoft store. The app cannot be left in its current state. I too, would recommend downloading the player from the website, but I think this is still a valid bug report.
