After today’s update (Feb 19/20) copying and pasting seems to crash in studio. It happens for both code and parts.
This bug used to be around before, but seems to be back.
Really hard to develop as it usually breaks within 5-10 minutes of editing. Then I need to close, reopen the place, republish (to get data store access), etc.
Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve had to close and reopen studio at least 15 times by now, just for 3 hours of development.
You’re going to want to upload a reproduction of the exact situation in which studio crashes.
It doesn’t crash for me, but it simply doesn’t work.

Yeah I also get realllly awkward bugs.
Right now, when I try to drag anything in explorer, instead of dragging it just highlights whatever the mouse moves over next.
Also, sometimes you can’t open/close descendants in the explorer either.
I can’t repro it because I don’t know what’s wrong. All I do is Open Game, Publish To Place, and use the Play button. Happens in other files that I checked too, so it’s not unique to this place afaik.
I also have this copy and paste bug. Exact same circumstances. Exact same error.
I’d check if I could produce this problem too, but I’ve been messing with the GameTest5 version of studio, although interestingly enough the copy/pasting and dragging objects in the explorer is broken for me, no crash, but simply doesn’t work. I don’t know if there’s any relation or if it’s just coincidence.
I’m getting this as well, and more.
Perhaps the previous version of Studio may be of assistance for those experience issues until the problem is rectified?
I think I can live OK without copy+pasting for a while, I don’t really use it often anyway. 
This is happening for me too. It started after the studio update today. I haven’t been able to figure out where/when it breaks, but it for sure is breaking.

Yeah, I have ROBLOX Studio open pretty much 24/7 and I don’t restart my computer, so I never end up updating, rather, even come to know there’s an update, until people start posting about it. This comes in handy when there are issues with the new update and I still have the previous version.
I’m not crashing but Copying/Pasting doesn’t work if I go into play solo and back. This was a bug in the Gamepad Gametest build and in the Smooth Terrain Gametest build. It happens every time.
I have restarted Studio three times today. Copying does not work AT ALL. Parts, strings, etc. Just won’t work. If I copy code from Sublime Text 2, though, and paste it - it works. I’ve also experienced crashing once, but I’m kinda used to that.
My copying and pasting breaks randomly when I’m coding. I’ll write some code, copy some lines, write more code, attempt to copy something, broken.
Not sure if it happens after I’ve entered a solo test or not though. Could be something to do with code hinting maybe? I really have no idea what causes it. It just happens. You admins should be able to repro the issue as well if you just develop for a few minutes. Figuring out what’s wrong isn’t easy.
If would be nice if they could revert to the older version for the sake of developers, but if they do that then the bug probably won’t be found/fixed.
