I don’t know exactly how this copyright stuff is supposed to work, but I did this thing just in case something happens.
I contacted an artist and I asked them if I could use their music in one of my games. They gave me permission, yet Roblox removes my audios because it “violates the terms of use”.
Now my question is: if I was granted permission, why can’t I use the song in my games? Is there anything more I have to do?
One thing I did not mention is that the artist simply asked me to mention the fact that THEY made the song, thing which I did.
On the horizons of this subject, they are trying to work on audio copyrights with something about proof for the rights and some other stuff. Your wording of that it “violates the terms of use” is ambiguous and could be either meant as “it violated copyright” or some other rulebreaking factor that we have not been made aware of.
