I want to use a small cut of the OST Escalon from bleach. I understand this is copyrighted but i would be able to sit tight with that if I hadn’t seen “Heroes Battlegrounds” use it for 42 SECONDS. When I tried to even upload it for 11 SECONDS it got taken down immediately. Could someone potentially reason why they can use the audio and I can’t? I doubt they got permission personally.

They either got permission from the original musician to use it for free or paid for it.
You can’t use it without permission of the musician.
Even if it got past Roblox moderation and you used it in your game, your account may end up terminated because of this. Because you haven’t got permission to use it.
Crediting the musician without permission does nothing. You must get permission to use it from them.

There are other services that someone can subscribe to that allow them to use copyrighted material from the service’s library, but as far as I know they are all paid subscriptions and the artist gets a small percentage of the income for it.
@DeVague_RBLX is correct. If you don’t have written permission or a contract you can’t use it.

Try a google search for “subscription service for copyrighted music” or a similar phrase.

just tried finding some, i need them to be anime related for an emote system. Would you have any inside information on how some games (majority battleground games) get permission to use audios such as the gojo piano theme or wtv
I don’t know.
They may have got in touch with the actual copyright holder and made a deal with them.
Or they may have found a service that has those audios as part of their library.

That must be quite hard tbh. I’ll try get in touch with some SFX professionals and see what their opinion on the matter is
