Core OS - Community Apps

Was originally considering posting in #resources:community-resources, but I wasn’t sure if it fitted the criteria. Tell me if I should change it.

Some of you active DevForum members may have seen my post documenting my current project: Core OS.

And during that time, I’ve come up with a breakthrough idea: allow the community to submit their own apps to be featured within the OS, with credit of course.

So that’s exactly what I’m going to be doing, allowing all of yous to submit apps.

Get the toolbox model here.

However, there are a few things you need to know:

  • The app must fit the visual design of CoreOS. (play game so ya know what I mean)
  • The scripts for drag and close do not come included. They will be added if I accept and ship your app.
  • Any assets that come with the model by default cannot be removed.
  • Apps must be submitted through messages, to prevent leaks,

Amazing may I be a system admin at Core OS.

I would like to participate, dm me on discord at Dvorak#3375

This a great idea and adds great innovation. I haven’t seen a Roblox OS quite like this in some time now. I simply have two questions - not to downgrade the idea though: Will this be available for public use for their own games? What practical use would this have outside of the main game, per say in a roleplaying game?

I don’t think it’d have any outside use. This OS is mainly a showcase / simulation, not a framework for something bigger.
