I want to use realistic companies and I’m assuming these ones are fine to use in-game because they’re allowed to be social media links on game pages/profile pages? Correct me if I’m wrong please.
No, you can not use any social media anywhere on ROBLOX except in social links and your profiles specified social accounts as you can not limit anything in game to 13+ year old players.
Do you mean company such as links to your social media or you mean like some sort of simulator that uses social media names such as facebook or instagram?
I’m guessing you’re talking about “places” in your game like a roleplay game? If so, no, you will get in copyright trouble for using the name/logo at all.
A game that ripped off the starbucks name/logo (or similar) was taken down due to copyright issues.
Could I change them up like this:
Discord → Discard
Twitter → Tweeter
Facebook → Faceblox

Possibly you can, theres a lot of games that do the exact same thing.
Might just be how I think, but I feel like players would appreciate it more if you created original names for your companies.
Yes, there is nothing against doing this, as long as you don’t use their copyrighted logos.

That’s funny, I named the file for my Twitter banner this. I think if you changed the names and logos you could get away with this.
For the logo I just used the picture of the Roblox hat “The bird says _____”, which is when you use a promocode like “ROBLOXTWITTER” or something.
